What did we do for Esperance Senior High School?
Esperance Senior High School needed a multi-phase website release plan –
- Phase 1: create a newly branded one pager to help keep the community informed (as the old site was no longer secure).
- Phase 2: a whole new website that helped call out key services and unique school components.
Branding
Using just a logo, creating a new visual identity which included an extended colour palette, photography direction, fonts and iconography.
Community
Working to ensure that the website talked about the school but also the importance it has in the community,
Integrations
Ensuring the new website integrated with the various 3rd Party platforms they need to use for payments and enrolments.
What was the initial brief from Esperance Senior High School?
Core project goals came through clear in the brief -
- Looking at a whole new website primarily for sharing updates and providing information to students & parents.
- Some main features we’ve discussed are a blog-like feature for updates/newsletters, as well as online forms for enrolments.
- We also had to evolve a brand for the school that was made up of a logo and a couple of core colours.
What are some project outcome highlights?
Project highlights include -
- A custom WordPress website with a simple approach to content management (ACF with WYSIYWG functionality) enabling the school to communicate with parents and students quickly and efficiently.
- Clearer UX helping to improve enrolments and visibility of school news – using an integrated enrolment pathway solution.
- A website that is secure with capturing student data.
